We’re Supposed to Trust These Guys to Regulate Wall Street?

with 2 comments

This whole debt-ceiling farce has only strengthened my conviction that the greed, incompetence, fraud, lies, and other vices found in every human heart come to us more severely in the form of “governmental oversight” and governmental crony-ism than they do from any private business folk. We have a bunch of yahoos running our government, foisting a colossal ponzi scheme that makes Madoff look like a piker on generations of Americans, voting themselves trillions of dollars of spending money that doesn’t exist, and we’re supposed to trust these guys to “oversee” our banking system, housing loan system, educational system, and all the other minutiae they’ve got their hands in? Sure thing!
